Egypt is one of the world's top exporters of frozen artichoke, with the Nubaria region producing premium globe artichokes from November through April. We harvest tender heads, peel down to the heart, trim, dip in citric solution (oxidation prevention), and IQF freeze within 4 hours of cutting.
The result is off-white tender hearts and bottoms with no browning, freely separated, ready for direct use in Mediterranean ready-meals, antipasto, frozen vegetable mixes, and HoReCa prep. A specialty product with strong margins for retailers.

Applications & Use Cases
Our iqf artichoke serves six EU buyer segments — each with their own pack-size, MOQ, and documentation requirements.
Estimated emissions from the full sea-freight leg (~4,500 km average Damietta → EU port). Ocean shipping is the lowest-carbon mode per tonne-kilometre — roughly 17× lower than air freight for the same cargo. We can issue a per-shipment carbon statement on request for CSRD / GHG-Protocol Scope 3 reporting.
